UNEP DTU Partnership is seeking a Research Assistant to join its Documentation and Communications Team.

The successful candidate will join an international team of more than 60 professionals in an interdisciplinary work environment located in the new UN City building in the Copenhagen Harbour area. Click to read the full announcement.

Required profile

- The Research Assistant should have completed a Master's level university education in Communication, Journalism and social sciences In addition, the successful candidate should have experience working in a team in an organization or agency, where you have developed skills in monitoring and evaluating results, in creating results based outreach materials - whether in print or for the web.
- Strong writing and editing/proofreading skills in English is a requirement. -
- Knowledge of Danish and/or French and Spanish is desirable.
- Web management skills, experience with CMS
- Experience in organizing and supporting outreach events
- Strong interpersonal communication skills. The ideal candidate should be able to interact confidently with a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Be willing to work efficiently on a range of tasks under tight deadlines.
- Experience with photography, photo editing tools and photo databases is an advantage.

The Research Assistant will be expected to engage with the following responsibilities:

- Assist with the day to day operations of the communication team.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a documentation strategy ensuring that project outcomes and results are being facilitated to the relevant audiences through the proper communication channels; such as publications, flyers and banners and other outreach material.
- Contribute to the development of a new tracking system for the use of our web and social media. As UDP has increased its presence on Social Media, there is a growing need to analyse SoMe statistics in order to further strengthen the scope of the UDP outreach portfoli
- Assist with creating content for the UDP website and SoMe platforms;
- Assist in creating and managing contracts, as well as other administrative procedures, as required.
- Provide support in planning, organizing and evaluating events at the UN City, Copenhagen and internationally.
