Tuesday 14 Mar 17

UNEP DTU Partnership is inviting proposals for a procurement service in the area of transparency for climate change adaptation.

The goal is to assess the demand for a climate change adaptation MRV framework, looking at the needs of both international and national stakeholders, and identifying key gaps that such a framework could fill.

Development of a plan for (i) piloting a transparency framework and (ii) providing capacity-building to countries
This activity entails developing a plan for piloting the MRV framework for adaptation and providing long-term capacity building to countries for measuring, evaluating and reporting on adaptation policies and actions. This will include identifying candidate countries, outlining specific needs and opportunities related to adaptation, establishing criteria for country selection, identifying potential Southern partners who could support country implementation, and developing a plan for providing capacity building support that would take as a starting point the piloting of the methodological framework developed under the initiative.

Read the scope of work and the requirements for submitting a proposal in detail in this procurement notice.

Proposals shall be submitted by e-mail ( ) before midnight (CET) on March 31st, 2017. The proposal shall include an estimate of overall costs, the CV of the person who would manage the project, and one page of background on the organisation submitting the proposal.
