Climate Resilient Development

The Climate Resilient Development (CRD) Programme supports the design, development and implementation of strategies and actions that effectively address climate change adaptation and sustainable development needs, with a primary focus on developing countries. In providing this support the CRD Programme works closely with academic and public and private partners in developing countries, as well as internationally.

The programme's activities are focused in three key areas:

• Strengthening the diffusion and uptake of technologies for adaptation

• Supporting climate compatible development planning, implementation and evaluation

• Engaging private sector in climate resilience

In all of these areas, CRD provides research and analyses, technical support and policy support aimed at strengthening the knowledge base and building capacity to reduce vulnerability and increase resilience to climate change impacts.

UNEP DTU Partnership works in close collaboration with the Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN)
